TriLet - Lisa Roller

Having a Sharpie Moment...

Dadreemer and i swapped Sharpie art and i have to say, hers is quite inspiring. i'm off to make more...

from Scott Thomas

i'm sure i'm one of the last holdouts with no digital camera. no cell phone either! so i had to wait for the film to develop for this one - a naked mail flashlight from Scott with a secret message inside!

another blind trade

...with Margaret Baxter. no risk here, this is a great card!

Forest Spirit

fall leaves

it wasn't planned but i made a trade with an artist at ATCards that ended up being a "leaf" for a "leaf".

Linda Hollingsworth

3 from lezbag

all art is personal

a postcard from lezbag, who was laid up for a while but now back into making and mailing art! you can see the ATCs she sent here.

Piggy MailArt?

In this collaged envelope i got a call for Piggy-themed mailart. you can see what's come in so far at PiggyOneMailart.

from Roc Nicholas

a very fun card by the maker of the Garden card below.

Star Goddess

another of my favorite themes

received this Raven card in a private trade a week or so ago but the original scan cut off it's face! this one is much better.

from Jas

if you've never visited Postcardx.net and you like sending and recieving postcards, this site is for you. i recieved this hand made card from Jas at PX. unfortunately, it looks like the post may have been a little hard on it, but that's part of the risk that comes with mailart. one of the reasons i like to send and receive mailart is that, while it's on it's way to the intended recipient, it is viewed (and handled) by many people along the way. who knows what's going to touch, move, inspire, enrage those individuals. while the art may change others, it also may be changed along the way. in my opinion, it's worth the risk!

Day of the Dead 2006

i had a busy week, what with Hallowe'en spooking with my friends Casey and Greg, a private Samhain ritual, and a very nice (and sometimes emotional) Day of the Dead gathering with friends. here are three great skull cards i received in honor of the day.

Fresh from the Garden... of Roc Nicholas

a lovingly created card that comes together very well. the earth tones are especially nice. the seeds are Sweet Cicely from Roc's friend's garden.

random ATCs

these are a few cards i made the other day (when i actually had a day off from work!) i used some of my own carved stamps in each of them. i'll probably send them off to some MailArt pals.
